The gradient density multi-denier media is an alternative to other disposable media.  It begins as a high loft 2” thick filter media that is needled to a compressed 1” thickness. The orange side is treated with a non-migrating heavy dry tackifier to enhance the material’s ability to hold and retain dust and debris.

In addition, this MERV 8 Dry Tack filter is treated with an antimicrobial to inhibit the growth of bacteria and molds. This means that the bacteria and mold spores trapped on the filter media will not colonize and spread. It will not kill existing mold in the air handler. This filter is a step up from the Blue media and is an economical option for low flow applications. 

The custom made filters are encased in a strong double walled beverage board frame which is not affected by moisture and is a perfect choice for high humidity or intermittent moisture conditions. Change this filter once a month for maximum efficiency.  Each case contains 6 disposable filters.

Polyester filters can be used in most applications in HVAC systems, unit ventilators and fan coil units.
